LCEBA Stakeholders Celebrate

LCEBA have held their annual Stakeholder Event whilst enjoying the fantastic views of London from the London Television Centre.

Regional Director London and Executive Director London Central Learning and Skills Council, Jacqui Henderson CBE, gave a rousing speech focusing on the work of the Learning and Skills Council in London and skills shortages in central London. Skills shortages are a major problem for a large number of employers in central London and across the UK. Education Business Link activity is key, which is why the work of the London Central Education Business Alliance is becoming increasingly important. Programmes such as our Mentoring and Professional Development Placements programmes provide London business with the perfect opportunity to influence the skills of the workforce of tomorrow.

The event celebrates another year of LCEBA bringing together schools and businesses. We would like to express our grateful thanks to all our stakeholders - business, teachers, education business link organisations and individual volunteers - for all their hard work and support. Here's to another successful year!
