Language Mentors Needed
A-Level students from South Camden Community School are looking for language mentors to take part in a new e-mentoring project.
The pilot scheme introduced by Camden Education Business Partnership aims to help students studying A-Level Leisure and Tourism with supplementary French, get to grips with their written French by pairing them with business volunteers who speak fluent French. The mentor pairs will exchange emails in French on a number of topics, starting in the Summer Term of 2005.
Mentors must be either native French speakers or fluent in the language, ideally (but not essentially) working in a customer facing industry. As with all our mentoring projects, mentors will be CRB checked and undertake full training before embarking on the scheme.
