LCEBA 5th Anniversary Presentation

LCEBA celebrated it's 5th Anniversary with an evening party, the venue being the high-level 'Walkways' of the Tower Bridge, London. The evening included a projected presentation.

  McDonald’s Food Technology Day  
 

On Monday 9th May 2005,McDonald’s Restaurants in partnership with the Federation of Education Business Link Consortia and the London Central Education Business Alliance, hosted a Food Technology Day at the Covent Garden offices of the HPI Research Group McDonald’s Restaurant on the Strand for Central London teachers.

A group of A-Level Law students from Central Foundation Boys School in Islington are embarking on a pilot e-mentoring scheme with law firm Wragge & Co LLP.

Business volunteers from across London are needed to help Year 10 students from Wandsworth learn about the process of applying for jobs and practising their job interview skills.

 
  Language Mentors Needed  
 

A-Level students from South Camden Community School are looking for language mentors to take part in a new e-mentoring project.

 
  Wanted! Playground Volunteers  
 

A pilot Playground Volunteers scheme has been launched in St Albans Primary School in Camden. Business volunteers from have been recruited to spend half an hour a week with children at the school, playing a variety of playground games.

 
  Talking Teachers  
 

Following on from the successful launch of the LCEBA Business Club at Deutsche Bank in March, the LCEBA Business Club has teamed up with KPMG to hold a one-day workshop bringing together teachers and businesses at KPMG's Salisbury Square offices on 15th July.
