Meeting Your Needs
Employers from London's creative and media industries are gathering for a special meeting on the topic Skills for Employment: Meeting Your Needs.
It is widely acknowledged that employers in the creative and media sector often struggle to find young people with the skills they need. This meeting will look at how employers can work with schools and colleges to do something about it.
The meeting takes place on Thursday 23 February at the offices of Channel 4, Horseferry Road, central London, 6.30-8.30pm.
The event is hosted by the Business Club of London Central Education Business Alliance and Channel 4's Ideas Factory.
The right skills
The event will explain current initiatives designed to equip young people with the skills and aptitudes needed by the creative and media sector.
In particular, we are inviting employers to help develop the curriculum of the new Creative and Media Diploma for 14-19 year olds, due to be launched in 2008, so that the qualification is as relevant as possible to your needs.
