"Education business links are not an add-on. They provide mainstream support for delivery of the curriculum."
National Association of Headteachers
London Central Education Business Alliance promotes joint working between schools and businesses in central London.
We are an alliance of 14 organisations funded by the Learning and Skills Council to deliver education business links in central London.
When businesses and schools come together everyone benefits - students, business partners and teachers.
Students are motivated. They learn new skills and gain important insights into the world of work. Business staff practice communication, teamwork and leadership skills in exciting new settings. Teachers use business links to complement National Curriculum projects.
"Businesses can make a major impact in motivating young people and enhancing the curriculum."
Department for Education and Skills
We offer a wide range of structured education business activities to schools and businesses in Camden, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, Southwark, Wandsworth and Westminster.
We work with businesses of all sizes from sole traders to multinationals across central London. We work with pre-school children plus primary schools, secondary schools, sixth forms and FE colleges
Our work is funded by the Learning and Skills Council as well as local authorities, regeneration programmes and the EC.
