Classroom Projects

"Children love involving business people. It adds a whole new dimension to the project."

Ben Roberts, teacher

Right now thousands of young people of all ages are working on projects in IT, science, art, history, ecology, drama, maths and much more.

Involving business people adds an extra dimension to classroom projects - enhancing learning and making connections to the wider world. This is particularly relevant to the Vocational GCSEs being run in Applied Art and Design, Applied Business, Applied ICT, Applied Science, Engineering, Health and Social Care, Leisure and Tourism and Manufacturing.

If you're a teacher we can find a relevant businessperson to add a new dimension to curriculum delivery.

"Our staff enjoy putting something back into the community and they learn new skills too."

Mark Clements, United News and Media

If you are a business person you could:

  • Talk to a class or small group during a one-off visit
  • Take part in a project over several weeks
  • Work with teachers to develop a new project

Whether you're in IT or construction, health or hospitality, a mechanic or a tailor, we have opportunities right up your street. If you want to find out more then contact us.
