Issue 3  1st October, 2007

What are you doing to forge stronger links between businesses and schools?

Capital Skills is helping employers work more closely with schools and ease the transition to the new diplomas. We have 22 projects up and running across the capital, involving nearly 3,000 young people and 400 employers.  You can read about some of those projects in this newsletter.

The Capital Skills project will finish in the spring of 2008, but we are committed to making sure that the resources and projects continue to enhance education business links across London afterwards.

A dissemination event will be held early in 2008 to tell employers and schools about how they can continue to benefit even after Capital Skills ends.  We will notify you as soon as a date for this event has been confirmed.
